Who We Are

Silk connects generations of silk weavers in Surin Province. From mother to daughter, grandmother to granddaughter and grandson, silk weaving represents the wisdom of self-sufficiency. It is no longer just the mother who is the dominant force in weaving today.

Silk will continue to serve as a bridge connecting the wisdom of the community. It is the foundation of cultural richness and economic stability for generations to come. Silk users take pride in supporting the continuation of silk wisdom and the bonding of families. This is a Non-Profitable Organization Working in the field of Silk weaving , Women and Child Development, Health, etc.

Foundation for Community – Soul (FCS) has been awarded a Low Value Grant Agreement from United Nations Development Program (UNDP) under the Adaptation Fund Climate Innovation Accelerator (AFCIA), financed by the Adaptation Fund and European Union.

About Us

What We Do

We create a sustainable change, make a concrete impact in the welfare, incomes, and livelihoods of the members as well as generate positive impact to other disadvantaged communities (such as by using the profits from their sales to restore the houses of elders in the community or to help disabled children in the area).

Also focus on offering new perspectives on its value and how we can make it healthy and environmentally friendly by using natural color instead of chemical ones (which are bad for the producers' health and the environment). We create a mutually beneficial business through fair distribution of income, fair labor costs for producers, and fair prices for consumers.
